First, the good: this book teaches Algebra quite intuitively in a manner that is pleasurable to the reader. I self taught myself algebra using this book as a young child, so when I began teaching algebra myself I requested that my center purchase the book. It has been helpful for advanced and less advanced students, and overall I appreciate now as an adult teacher what I loved as a child student.
